Kim Jong Un dares USA, Launches Missile

A week after United States designated North Korea as a state sponsor of terror, Kim Jong-Un dared Uncle Sam and fired a ballistic missile into Japan sea.

South Korea’s army confirmed that the missile was fired from an area north of Pyongyang.

The trajectory of the missile is unknown and the US and South Korea are investigating into this.

The launch is the second intermediate ballistic missile launched by North Korea in the recent past.

TRUMP: WE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT

US President Donald Trump spoke minutes after the launched, however his response seem measured. He simply said “We will take care of it. It is a situation that we will handle”

MISSILE LANDS IN JAPAN SEA, NO DAMAGE REPORTED

North Korea confirmed that it had ‘successfully launched: a new type of ICBM called the Hwasong 15. However no damage was reported from this missile that was launched from the western coast of North Korea .

UN AMBASSADORS CONDEMN NKOREA MISSILE
UN ambassadors from Japan, Italy and the United Kingdom slammed North Korea over it’s intercontinental ballistic missile.

U.N. Security Council President said that he was in contact with key U.N. members after this development.

Meanwhile Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe added that his country would no longer tolerate the actions of North Korea and pressed for sanctions against the rogue nation.

This is the second ICBM launch by North Korea in less than 10 weeks, is the country, backed by the China seems to be getting more emboldened. Will the world let the Maverick dictator continue to set terms, or will the UNSC and Atlantic Countries stop this nuclear war drama?

Bob Dylan to skip Nobel Ceremony

He had first maintained an unusual silence when he received the Nobel Prize for literature and now Bob Dylan will not attend the prize ceremony as well. Dylan will not attend the ceremony due to his pre-existing commitments. He , however, underscored, once again, that he felt very honored about winning the award.

Bob Dylan must however, deliver his Nobel Lecture, which he must give within six months counting from December 10, 2016.

First Lady Michelle Obama called as an ‘Ape in heels’

The mayor of Clay, West Virginia, has resigned over a racist Facebook post that compared first lady Michelle Obama to an “ape in heels.”
 Pamela Taylor, worked as director of the Clay County Development Corporation and wrote on Facebook: “It will be refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady in the White House. I’m tired of seeing an ape in heels,”.

To this Mayor Beverly Whaling commented on the post saying: “Just made my day Pam,”.

Whaling has now resigned, but it is not know if Taylor was terminated or resigned her post. 

Hillary blames FBI chief’s letters for her loss

Hillary Clinton claimed that the two letters from James Comey , the head of Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI)  to members of Congress in the run-up to the presidential election, led to her loss in the last week.

Hillary made the statement on Saturday during a conference which consisted of donors who had contributed $1,00,000 or more towards her election campaign.

She said she was confident on winning the election until the FBI chief’s letters turned the direction of the campaign.

Meanwhile, few opinion polls had suggested that neither the FBI letters nor the taped conversations featuring Mr Trump bantering about his controversial behaviour with women made much impact on the voters’ preferences which were decided much earlier in large part.

Donald Trump vows to ‘deport illegal immigrants’

Speaking at his first interview since his victory, US president-elect Donald J Trump promsied to immediately deport 2 to 3 million illegal immigrants living in America.

The central theme of his presidential campaign was eliminating illegal immigrant across United States.

Donald has also vowed to build a wall across US-Mexico border to secure the country’s border. Donald will be sworn into power in  January 2017.
